JEEP WRANGLER, Mich.
— The Jeep Wrangler is finally here.
The automaker on Thursday said the new Jeep Wranger SUV, Jeep Renegade, will hit the U.S. market in November.
Jeep said the Wrangler will go on sale in North America and Europe starting in 2019.
Its the first Jeep SUV to hit the American market in more than 50 years.
JEEP WRangler, which began production in 1998, is Jeep’s flagship SUV.
It combines rugged durability with a spacious cabin and a big, open front seat that’s perfect for those who like to have more room in their cars.
Jeep said the Jeep Renegades will go for between $22,000 and $25,000 when it goes on the road.
That compares with the $21,500 to $23,000 price tag for the base Jeep Wrangers that went on sale last year.
